safeDriver will block incoming and outgoing phone calls when the driver exceeds your designated speed. Also, when this speed is reached the device is locked and all phone calls are blocked. SMS, text messages, are blocked by locking the phone. safeDriver runs all the time. Even rebooting your device does not stop this app. So, their phone calls will be blocked when they’re not driving.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission. Device Admin permission is used to lock the phone. This is needed for the app. Once installed the app can be removed by following the directions below:

If you wish to stop or uninstall the app you must first use the Terminate App menu option. This stops it and releases the admin policy. After that they will receive phone calls and you can uninstall the app. (On Android 7.0+ the app can be uninstalled without using the Terminate option. There are other ways to remove this app or to stop it from running so periotic checking may be required).

This app does not work on Android 8.0. Allowed calls does not work on Android 9.0+ . Meaning all calls are blocked when the triggering speed is reached.

Functions:
When you first run the app, it places you on the setup page where you create the app’s password, triggering speed and allowed phone numbers. Any of these items may be changed at any time after reentering the app’s password. Up to five allowed phone numbers can be entered. These numbers can be called or received regardless of the driver’s speed.

PRIVACY POLICY
This app collects allowable phone numbers that you entered. We use this to determine which calls will not be blocked. No third party or anyone at Pretty Puppy Apps has access to this information. You can remove it by using the app’s menu and setting the Phone Number too blank.
